General Questions
We’ve seen time and time again that our clients save money outsourcing billing. Many practitioners and office managers turn to a medical billing company after they see how much money they’re leaving on the table with their in-house billing or current medical billing company. Our team is dedicated to staying up to date with billing practices and are experts at maximizing coding to get you money that was being left on the table. And outsourcing to Mednet eliminates loss of productivity due to staff absence or turnover. It also removes the practice’s cost of billing software, postage, and supplies.
You’ll have a dedicated account manager who will be your primary contact for your practice. This way, you can build a relationship together and feel confident you have a team member who KNOWS your business. Mednet conducts weekly Team Accountability meetings to review your numbers and Account Managers alert you of any significant changes in revenue.
Aside from reducing in-house costs, you’ll also see that our coders are experts in their field and know how to code to maximize profit. And when we can help train doctors to code well, naturally they’re going to be paid better. And that’s a service we provide that your in-house billing probably can’t do.
We know we’re handling sensitive data, and we are committed to being HIPAA compliant. Our management software integrates with over 50 common EHR software, so data is handled with care, and the process is seamless.

How Medical Billing With Mednet Works
Mednet bills your patients for their portion after we receive payment from the insurance company. The bills use your office’s name and address, so it is apparent to the patient that the statement is for services rendered at your practice.
We have a 98% collection success rate, and our average days in A/R is less than 40 days. We do this with aggressive aging follow-up, making sure both insurance companies and patients are paying their allotted amounts.
We provide end-of-month reports, and you’ll have access anytime, within business hours, to your dedicated account manager. We pride ourselves on great relationships with our clients, and in fact, our retention rate for clients is eight years!
Our software integrates with over 50 popular EHR software so the billing happens seamlessly. We’re HIPAA compliant, so there is no need to worry about valuable data getting lost in translation.

COVID threw many practices into the deep end with telehealth and medical billing and coding. And while you’ve hopefully got your feet under you now, you might be one of many practices that have continued with both telehealth and in-person care. If you have questions about coding/billing for telehealth, we’re happy to help!
At Mednet, we do everything within our power to restore the past A/R when we take on a new client, and we also do that for no additional cost. Some billing and coding companies charge an additional rate for past A/R, but we believe it’s our job to start with a clean slate and go from there.
